For gas mass flow meters (Coriolis type), what calculation formula is used to convert the measured mass flow rate of the mixed gas into a volume flow rate under standard conditions? I’ve been confused; I would be very grateful if it could be explained! ! Is it necessary to conduct exhaust gas analysis to determine the percentage of various gas components, and then calculate the average molecular weight? Our mass flow meter is used to measure the flow rate of circulating hydrogen; exhaust gas samples are collected hourly for component analysis. At the beginning of operation, the flow meter was calibrated using the density of pure hydrogen, and after hydrogen gas started to be fed in, density calibration was carried out based on the results of the exhaust gas analysis. I just don’t know what the steps or process involved in converting from pure hydrogen to mixed hydrogen is

It’s not easy to measure when there are many gas components; it’s simpler to obtain the flow rate through process simulation~
The molecular mass should be obtained based on the simulation data
I work in the manufacturing field and don’t know much about this. I’ll share my simple opinion: a mass flow meter should directly provide the mass flow rate – is there any need for density compensation? I’m not sure if it’s right.
