How to build expertise in different fields

I have been in the industry for eight years, having worked in areas such as technology research and development, technical management, frontline production management, and safety management – covering each of these fields to some extent. However, I spent roughly two years in each position, and I managed to achieve something meaningful in each role. Right now, I’m feeling confused about my next career direction and wonder how I can find a path that suits me better (note: I really dislike working in technology research and development and technical management)
