The valve surges at high valve positions

Control valve, Siemens valve positioner; the valve starts to experience instability once its position exceeds 70%, while it operates normally when the position is below 70%. Let’s discuss the possible reasons for this phenomenon
What type of valve is it? Try setting the control circuit to manual to see how it behaves, and then set the locator to manual as well to observe the situation.
No breathing at manual operation, ruling out the issue of unstable DCS signals! The problem I was experiencing has been identified; it was due to a low air supply output from the valve actuator. Adjusting the knob on the actuator resolved the issue!
