When opening Aspen Plus, the following message appears: \"You do not have write access to this directory (D:\aspen plus\work\aspen plus v7.1). This file cannot be opened without a valid working directory. Click OK to set a working directory, or click Cancel to abort the operation.\" How can I set up this working directory? The same problem occurred during both urgent reinstallations
It’s likely that your system permissions are insufficient. If it’s Windows 7, right-click on the ASPEN PLUS V7.1 folder, select “Take ownership as administrator”, and then install it. Of course, provided that you must log in as an administrator. If not, try logging in as an administrator first. If it’s not Windows 7, or if this option is not available, then you’ll have to go to the Control Panel to make the changes.
How did you set the installation folder? It seems like this folder usually doesn’t appear
It might be a compatibility issue. I had someone help me install it today for a whole day; we tried reinstalling it at least 5 times. Let’s try using version 7.2 instead
