Keep working hard on creating original posts. I went to Ningbo on a business trip yesterday, visiting a potential major client for the second time. Although I knew that no deal would be struck this time, I still went there with enthusiasm, along with other technical colleagues, to have discussions. During those discussions, it became clear that the client’s requirements had changed – they now wanted a fully automated system. The equipment we import no longer meets these requirements, so local modifications are necessary. There’s also a German-made device competing; its price is higher, but its technical specifications basically meet the client’s needs. The bidding process will start at the end of this month. We think there’s a good chance we’ll participate in this bidding. The only option is to offer further price concessions to make up for any technical shortcomings. The discussions were pleasant, and at the end I told the project manager that we should make a ‘pinky promise’ – if we give our best effort to submit the best proposal, they will still consider our product. If building a new factory isn’t feasible this time, they will definitely take our proposal seriously for renovating the existing factory. We must use the remaining 10 days to prepare the best possible technical proposal. Our goal is simple: to reach an agreement with our potential client, so that we can sign a formal contract.
Long time no see… It’s great to see you again; I really miss that feeling… :handshake
Work hard, come on. Wish you good luck!
