May I ask: does a longer connecting shaft require a higher motor power?
The OP’s question is quite interesting; the power of a motor is related to the power of the load
The output power of a motor is related to the diameter of its shaft; the greater the capacity, the larger the shaft diameter. It is mainly due to the increase in output torque. Of course, the greater the motor power, the longer the shaft may be, but it isn’t necessarily longer.
