Hello everyone, I would like to ask for some advice. We have a project dealing with domestic wastewater that contains a significant amount of hair. A 5mm basket filter is used as the preliminary filtration stage; after passing through the equalization tank, the water is intended to flow into an MBR system via an auto-cleaning filter. The precision required for this auto-cleaning filter is currently set at 1mm. I would like to know which type of filter would be suitable in this case, and if there are any reputable manufacturers that can recommend such filters. Thank you!
1mm precision is really low; using a brush type is better:D

The use of a mesh filter for fibrous impurities is not very effective; it depends mainly on the length of the fibers. Whether it’s a brushing or suction method, can the fibers at both ends be removed if they get trapped in the mesh? In the industry, sheet filters are commonly used for filtering fibers such as hair.
The dirt-holding capacity of laminar filters is too poor; I personally prefer brush-type filters, as they have a single filter element. Hair floats at the top of the filter, and by opening the upper discharge port after a while, hair and other light-floating debris can be removed, thus preventing entanglement around the brushes.
