I’ve been working for 3 years now, and I want to become a certified chemical engineer. I bought the books two months ago but have only read 50 pages; I feel like I’m failing. I want to make progress, but I can’t muster the determination to do so. Every day before leaving work, I think about finding time to read in the evening, but once I get home, with all the chores of shopping for groceries, cooking, and having dinner, I have no energy left. When I wake up the next morning, I realize that I didn’t do anything the previous day, and I feel incredibly empty. My husband even laughs at me, saying that I’m someone who makes plans but never follows through. Ugh, it’s painful
Ordinary people regret the past and get lost in the present. We are all ordinary people; it’s completely normal for such things to happen. I’ve been in the same situation recently; I study chemical engineering thermodynamics. I’ve forced myself to delete all the games on my computer, as well as any card games or other applications like StormPlayer that are outside my control. There’s no other way – when one lacks determination, one has to take drastic measures. Hope this can serve as a reference for you: lol
It seems that people are different; I want to read books but keep finding various excuses for myself. I’ve had a book in my possession for almost two years now, yet I’ve only read a dozen pages or so. Ah, I no longer have the enthusiasm I had right after graduating – I’ve become complacent
Just like me, the only fun I have left now is to stroll around Haichuan
Not bad; I’ve been on the forum ever since I finished dinner, hehe. . . :lol
Hehe, it's normal; we're all ordinary people! But we must be strict with ourselves, be tough on ourselves – I believe you can do it! Wish you success..........
I completely agree~~ Why is reading such a tough task?~
Hehe, it’s totally normal; I’m just like you
Hehe, I agree. I only took a look at the table of contents of my registration form
Standing on the top of Mount Tai, looking down at all the other mountains – what a bunch of lazy ones! :lol
Household matters, factory affairs, trivial things – there’s always something to worry about; The sound of the wind, the sound of rain, the sound of snoring – but no sound of turning pages! If you have the energy, learn as much as you can; don’t give up. I’m also reading books by architects, to share with the friends in this post!
