What is the purpose of installing a reabsorption tower? Answer: (1) Since the absorption tower uses light absorption oils, namely crude gasoline and stabilized gasoline, as absorbents, these substances can easily be carried away by the lean gas at the top of the tower, resulting in significant losses. (2) Therefore, a reabsorption tower is installed, using light diesel to recover the gasoline components that have been carried away. (3) This helps to recover as much of the C3 and C4 components present in the dry gas as possible. Why is stabilized gasoline fed into the absorption tower during its operation? Answer: (1) Stable gasoline contains fewer light components, which can enhance the absorption effect and reduce the amount of gas carried at the top of the tower; (2) Additionally, it is possible to increase the liquid-to-gas ratio, thereby improving the absorption effect.
Using stabilized gasoline as an absorbent serves as a supplement to using crude gasoline as an absorbent; if crude gasoline can meet the product requirements, stabilized gasoline may not be necessary, thereby reducing energy consumption
