Impurities on the valve sealing surface and sealing seat, as well as impurities in the actuator cylinder and sealing leaks, can all cause the valve to not close properly; each issue needs to be analyzed on its own.
The sealing ring does not fit properly with the disc teeth, or it may be related to the installation position of the valve; if the valve stem is perpendicular to the pipeline, it is easy for the valve to fail to close properly over time
There are many reasons why the valve cannot be closed properly. First, it is necessary to check whether the valve stem has moved to its proper position; second, it is important to determine whether the sealing ring is damaged. In the case of hard-sealing valves, there can be issues with proper closure, as oil does not enter the valve core but rather goes into the actuator to serve a lubricating purpose.
Improper alignment, the presence of impurities, poor sealing, severe wear, incorrect positioning of the valve stem, and insufficient pressure of the instrument air can all cause the valve to not close properly.
