SH3012-2011 stipulates that venting and draining devices should not be installed on hydrogen pipelines; I wonder why
Is it based on safety considerations? There’s no problem with emissions at high altitudes, right?

Try to use as few as possible; avoid installing them everywhere like in ordinary pipelines. The main reason is that every weld point and flange is a potential leakage point, so reducing their number by one helps
