How exactly are buildings and structures distinguished?

Is there a simplest and most intuitive way to understand this? I can never figure out the relationship and differences between the two
Structures that generally have enclosure elements such as brick walls, doors, windows, and a roof are called buildings; in contrast, those made of concrete or steel with an open structure are considered structures.
