The lubricating oil and control oil for the turbine are separate. The supply pressure for the lubricating oil is 2.5 kilograms, while that for the control oil is 8.5 kilograms. Both are supplied by oil pumps; so why is the pressure different?
Both are pump outlets, yes. However, the control oil passes through an oil pressure regulator only once, resulting in a pressure of 0.85 MPa; this pressure is used as the control oil. After passing through a second oil pressure regulator, it becomes lubricating oil with a pressure of 0.25 MPa. The required pressures are controlled using these two regulators.
The unit oil station is equipped with 2-3 self-acting control valves, which are used to regulate the lubricating oil and control oil respectively; you can find this information by looking at the drawings of the unit oil station.
Since their uses are different, the required oil pressures also vary. First, you should figure out what lubricating oil and control oil are used for; by understanding the production process and the equipment involved, you’ll be able to comprehend it. It’s not enough to focus only on pressure. Besides, lubricating oil and control oil have different names, and their literal meanings are clearly distinct, so it’s normal for their corresponding pressures to differ.
In an oil system, typically the control oil is connected directly to the oil pump outlet at a pressure of 1.0 MPa, with no pressure regulating devices installed in between. The lubricating oil passes through a pressure-regulating valve, which reduces its pressure to 0.3 MPa. Then, an overpressure protection valve is placed on the return line from the oil pump outlet to the oil tank in order to regulate the pressure throughout the entire oil system.

Start by checking the process at the gas station; read it a few times and you’ll understand.
Hehe, the pressures are different. It’s impossible to know what the pressure at the pump outlet is; isn’t the pressure the same everywhere? When you fully open the second valve, the lubricating oil pressure increases, being only slightly lower than 8.5.
You should take a close look at the flow of your oil system; if you don’t understand it, ask the mechanic for help – you’ll understand it soon enough.
Agree with the view from Floor 5; the approaches from Floors 7 and 9 are the best. Be careful: identify where the flanges are, where the valves are, where the pressure outlets are, and so on. One must pay close attention to all aspects related to the unit.
