I’ve only been working in the valve industry for a short time, and I’ve run into a selection issue: what unit does 0.2 MPA/MIN represent? Can it be converted to KG/min? If possible, how can it be converted? Thank you.
I’m not sure what unit you’re referring to; 0.2 Mpa is roughly equivalent to 2 kg/cm2
I’m also not sure what unit this is. It was provided by the customer along with the selection parameters, but I have no idea what it represents; therefore, I don’t know how to make a selection. Have you encountered such a unit before?
I just know that 1 MPA is equal to 10 kilograms, that’s all.
The value in front is the pressure unit; 0.2 MPa is equivalent to 2 Kg. The “MIN” at the back is the time unit, meaning “minutes”. Putting these two together doesn’t look very good. It would be more appropriate for the time unit to be placed next to the flow rate: lol
MIN probably means “minimum value”. . . .
