The level sensors in the tanks for polyoxymethylene powder and granules often give incorrect readings, either due to bridging or residue accumulation; E+H fork-type level sensors are being used. Does anyone have any solutions?
As a supplementary note, each of our tanks is equipped with three level sensors – for low, medium, and high levels. Often, an alarm is triggered when the level is low, yet the medium level sensor still indicates that there is material present. Just tap it with a wrench. But you can’t carry a wrench around all day to adjust the level gauges on site; their installation should comply with regulations, with an inclination of 45 degrees downward. The moisture content of the material in the process is higher than intended; could you please advise on how to deal with this?
There is no good solution for this issue; it is caused by the properties of the process medium. Specifically, as the medium level drops, the material sticks to the fork part of the tuning fork switch, which results in abnormal operation. You can contact the manufacturer and ask whether it would be possible to increase the distance between the forks during the next maintenance session.

It’s the tuning fork that’s broken; I’ve encountered this situation before – it reports an error N times a day, and nothing seems to work. The solution was to replace it with a new one, and then it worked! It’s no problem to normally attach the material feeding device!
