Soft water should be used for the circulating water in heating systems, but our facility doesn’t have soft water. After doing some research, I found that online information states that electronic water treatment devices can soften water quality. I was wondering if anyone has used such electronic water treatment devices? Will it achieve the desired effect?
Electronic water treatment devices can be tried for small volumes of water, but most of the electronic water treatment devices I’ve seen are in a damaged state. China introduced this technology from abroad in the 1950s, yet it never achieved much success or effectiveness. It was promoted in the past, but it seems to have caused many accidents such as explosions in small boilers; as a result, its use was banned. However, starting from the 1980s, some technology was introduced from somewhere else, and people began to use such devices again, though the results varied! There is a wide variety of products, and their quality varies greatly! Rarely used in large-scale projects! The heating water can be made of soft water, or scale inhibitors can be added to address the issue!

You can purchase desalinated water, which is priced per ton; most chemical plants have it available
