I am handling a capacity of 600,000 tons per year, and the information is a bit confusing to me.
Composite tower. Distillation section packing, stripping section floating valve trays. That’s how things are in our factory
Thank you. What type of tower process does your factory use?
The four-tower process features composite trays; both the pressurized and atmospheric towers have several floating valves at the bottom, with the rest being packed beds
Do you have the calculations for this? My email address is 373222549@qq.com. Thank you!
There’s no actual calculation done; I only did a rough estimate while reading books before, and I can’t present it properly
Oh, my graduation project involved the distillation of 600,000 tons of methanol, using a four-tower process. I’m now at the stage of process validation; it’s really a slow process of learning!
If screen packing is available, it should be used whenever possible, as its operational flexibility is much better than that of floating valves and trays.
Well, I’ve also seen information on this topic, but I don’t have the assembly drawings for the packing tower. I’m not sure if it will be possible to create such drawings later on. Do you have the assembly drawings for the packing tower?
The S-shaped low-pressure drop, regularly corrugated packing has a higher separation efficiency than mesh-type regularly corrugated packing, and it also has a longer service life. Technical consultation: 15879952810
