RT received a recommendation from a headhunter to work at this company in Shanghai, but the position was just that of a draftsman; the contract was signed with the headhunter, not as a full-time employee. . . I’m not sure if there are any opportunities for growth for newcomers. . . I also have an offer from a joint venture engineering company, and I’m not sure how to choose. I would appreciate it if those with experience could share their insights. . . PS: I have been working for 2 years. .
For FW Company, you are just an external hire; the headhunter is essentially a shell company. . . .
For those of us with only a few years of work experience, there should be differences in terms of salary and benefits, right? ? Are there any differences in work between temporary workers and regular employees? Is what you learn different?
The things are more or less the same; it’s just the treatment that differs. I’ll switch jobs later then:hug::victory:

It’s located relatively close to home – just a 20-minute walk away – while Foster Wheeler is farther away, so it’s necessary to rent a place there. . . . They’re all in Shanghai; FW is a hired employee. . The other one is official. . . . The after-tax FW here is exactly twice that of the other company after taxes, so I’m quite torn. .

I would like to know whether the work processes, systems, and tasks of such foreign companies are the same as those of ordinary domestic engineering firms ? Is it the same things we learn?

After 2-3 years, it will be covered with a gold coating; after all, FW is also a legitimate foreign company. Find another way out in a few years. I used to have a friend who took this path, and he also went to FW. I’m doing well at another foreign company right now. The work processes in the piping field are basically similar; don’t worry! It doesn’t matter whether you’ve worked externally or not; you can simply write in your resume about the projects you’ve worked on at FW. They won’t ask whether you were a full-time employee before either!

draftsman? Which major does it belong to? Many professions involve creating diagrams... I’m not sure which one you belong to
The headhunter mentioned something about PID modification, but PDMS didn’t specify whether it’s necessary or not. . .
