We currently use the SPDA pipeline engineering design assistance system for our engineering design work. The use of SPDA has improved design quality ； Reduced the design cycle ； Reduced the workload on designers ； It has greatly improved the economic efficiency of design firms. The SPDA system provides specific editing tools for each entity, enabling operations such as insertion, addition, querying, modification, copying, moving, and statistics, so that designers can quickly create and edit models. The system offers intelligent analysis and processing capabilities; for each command, it automatically identifies the object to be operated on, retrieves all information about that object, and performs different operations based on the type of object. With the SPDA system, designers do not need to carry out any complicated preliminary preparations; by simply selecting the appropriate grade table and without having to draw P&ID diagrams, they can directly create 3D models. With the SPDA system, users only need to specify the direction of the pipeline, and the system can handle the piping automatically ； Users can also draw 3D pipelines in the same way as drawing LINES in AutoCAD, and can use any object as a reference point for the piping; additionally, the system provides functions for automatically connecting elbows and tees. Any floor plan drawn in AutoCAD can be converted into a 3D model using SPDA; all pipe segments are automatically connected, and from this model, layout drawings, single-line diagrams (ISO), and bill of materials (BOM) for other views can be generated.
