In our workshop, flat-flame low-NOx burners are used for double-sided radiant heating furnaces, but their performance is not good. The everlasting light and the main burner get clogged frequently ; Several nozzles at the end of the branch often go out. Everyone, please share what kind of burners you use and your experience with them.
Hello! Upstairs, our company specializes in the design and manufacture of various burners. Our burners perform very well in applications at coking plants in Fujian as well as at heavy oil coking plants in Dongying! It is a reinforced burner, different from ordinary burners. Based on what you’ve described, it’s possible that the gas in your factory contains a high amount of impurities; without filtration and desulfurization/dehydration devices, the burner flame does not burn properly, and coking tends to occur at the nozzle. You can contact me for more details – we can help you analyze the situation. Phone: 13525437096 Guo Shuqiang
In China, there are only a few manufacturers of flat-flame low-NOx burners for double-sided radiant heating furnaces: Luoyang Ruichang, Jiangyin Yanxin, Hunan Jixiang, Luoyang Xinpu, etc. The quality of these burners is more or less the same; we have used them all and have not encountered any problems related to clogging. It is recommended to check whether the issue might be caused by dirty fuel gas.
Senior, what kind of treatment has been done to your gas? How to prevent gas from carrying coke powder and amine liquid?
A filtration-separation tank can be added, with water used as the separation medium at the bottom of the tank to remove particles and heavy components from the gas. The remaining issue is how to deal with the wastewater in the tanks.
The pressure in the gas main is 0.23 MPa. 0.15 MPa in front of the burner. Higher than 0.1 MPa on the burner nameplate. The furnace temperature cannot rise due to low pressure. What’s the situation with those sea friends?
Is there a flame arrester before the gas enters the furnace? With a fire suppressor of such high density, if the gas is dirty, it should get clogged quite quickly. If it’s an old-style fire arrestor with a coarse mesh, it won’t be noticeable! A clogged burner is definitely caused by gas containing liquid and impurities!
The filtering efficiency of the flame arrester is not very good; if there is a large amount of coke dust and amine solution in the gas, the flame arrester alone is not sufficient to filter it out
In front of our heating furnace, there is a buffer tank containing liquid that allows for timely drainage. To prevent gas from carrying liquid. There is a flame arrester in front of the burner to prevent gas from carrying coke dust~
