What is the reason for the high recontact pressure in the second stage of reforming? If the pressure in the hydrogen pipeline network is low, can it be reduced? The purpose of low temperature and high pressure is to purify hydrogen and recover liquefied gas (to increase the liquid yield)
As a production unit, it is of course designed with the user in mind; therefore, the recontact pressure of the reforming unit in any plant is determined based on the hydrogen pressure in the pipeline network, or rather, based on the pressure requirements of a specific user. So as long as the gas can be delivered and the recipient is willing to accept it, then it’s fine. The purpose of running a business is to make real money, not to rank first in terms of technical metrics nationwide; of course, this is also the starting point for our daily work. Think about it: we work hard for a whole year, and a single wrong decision by the management causes your company to suffer huge losses – so what’s the point of working then?
