Differences between valve bodies 304 and 316L.

It is a double-eccentric ball valve, with the valve core and valve body made of 316L material. Now I want to change the valve body to 304 material; I’m not sure if there will be any negative consequences. The material is a sodium carbonate solution with a solid content of around 30%, the temperature of the material is between 80 and 105 degrees Celsius, and the diameter of the valve is 150 mm. Is the key issue the scour resistance? Thank you.
316 has better corrosion resistance and strength than 304; why would the original poster want to switch?
Different types of steel are subject to standard specifications; ASME standards exist, and I recall having seen similar standards in China as well. There are many regulations, though they aren’t referred to in that way in the Chinese standards
Isn’t 304 cheaper in price? However, to ensure quality, it was ultimately decided not to make any changes.
