Piston-type machines have a high maintenance rate, high maintenance costs, high labor intensity, and require highly skilled maintenance workers. Screw compressors require infrequent maintenance and involve low labor intensity; as long as regular inspections are carried out, major repairs are generally not necessary. Our facility does not use centrifuges in the hydrogen chloride compression section, so it is difficult to provide an evaluation.
