When this burner burns oil, which is above—the oil or the vapor—at the tip of the flame gun?

I’m not sure what you mean by oil and gas? As for fuel oil and steam, they are mixed together, so there is no issue of one being on top of the other; if gas is referred to, generally the flame produced by gas is slightly lower in temperature than that produced by fuel oil.
Oil is supplied to the middle part, while gas is supplied around it. In this way, the gas not only provides heat but also atomizes the fluid oil; meanwhile, the oil gun has two ports as well – one for the oil and one for steam. Achieves secondary atomization.
It’s better to operate with the gas on. We used to do the opposite, but we’ve changed now.
I think it would be better somewhere in the middle to lower part of the fuel burner
The oil in our plant is at the bottom, while the atomized steam is at the top. Above that is high-pressure gas. You can see that the ones that are generally dirtier are the fuel oil lines, while the thicker ones are the gas lines.
The nozzle angle of the burner and other aspects are carefully designed and calculated; it is not possible to connect the hoses arbitrarily – it must be done in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
Inside the oil gun is a sleeve that has two pathways: one for air and one for oil. The oil pathway is in the middle, while the steam is on the outside.
The oil circuit needs to be atomized, while the gas circuit does not.
