Galvanized core plugs and tees

Hello everyone. Today I saw in the material list a galvanized plug; it seems to serve a similar purpose to tees, being a reducing joint. I’m not sure if my understanding is correct I would appreciate the guidance from those who are more experienced. :)
I think it can be understood in this way: on instruments, they are generally referred to as size-matching connectors or transition connectors, while on equipment they seem to be called plug-in cores.
The reduced-diameter transition fittings that come with the instruments are slightly different from ordinary elbow fittings; one end of these fittings is metric 20*1.5, while the other end has pipe threads.

It’s not necessarily one end with internal threads and the other with external threads, nor is it the case that one end has metric threads of 20*1.5 while the other end has pipe threads. The galvanized core filler is a connector for two components; its choice depends on the dimensions of those components. It is available in metric and tapered versions, with the tapered types coming in 55-degree and 60-degree versions, and it can have external threads or internal threads.
