Foundation laid for world’s largest CPE rubber project Source: Author: Publication date: 2012-04-06 Recently, the development and application project for chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) modified synthetic rubber in the Hebei Jingxin Technology Industrial Park began with the laying of its foundation. Upon completion, this project will become the world’s largest and most advanced production and R&D facility for chlorinated polyethylene-modified synthetic rubber, playing a significant role in further improving the level of China’s chemical industry and accelerating the transition of research projects into industrial applications. It is understood that this project involves an investment of 5.9 billion yuan, making it the largest single industrial project in terms of investment by a plastic additive manufacturer in China ; By utilizing advanced international process technologies and equipment, its synthetic rubber products possess independent intellectual property rights; these products not only fill a gap in the domestic market but also facilitate a deep integration between the plastic industry and the engineering rubber industry. Upon completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of rubber-type chlorinated polyethylene, 300,000 tons of general-purpose rubber elastomers, and 300,000 tons of specialty rubber elastomers. The annual output value is expected to reach 12.8 billion yuan, with profits and taxes amounting to nearly 3 billion yuan. Hebei Jingxin Group is a major manufacturer of plastic additives in China. Over the past 10 years or so, it has consistently pursued a path of technological innovation through integration of production, education, and research. It has become one of the top 500 chemical enterprises in the country, as well as one of the top 500 private technology enterprises in China, and is also a high-tech enterprise at the ** level.
