This is not only everyone’s shared aspiration but also their shared responsibility. Saving energy and resources and protecting the environment is a major battle; in this battle, there are no calls to assemble, only calls to charge forward. Let’s take action right away!

Global energy resources are limited, and human energy consumption is **increasing** in the new century; it has therefore become imperative to conserve energy.
Energy conservation has been advocated for many years, yet China’s energy consumption level remains high. Now, energy conservation and reduction have been linked to performance evaluations in government work, hoping this will yield positive results! However, I personally believe that it is technological progress that can truly solve the problem; only by linking energy conservation with corporate profitability can sustainable development be achieved! Otherwise, if there are policies at the top, countermeasures will emerge at the bottom; shutting down power supply is ultimately not a sustainable solution!
