Dear sea friends: We have a new project that has just started operation. The pressure gauges currently in use on site are about to reach their inspection deadline, and we are unsure regarding the certificates that will be issued after the inspection. Specifically, we are wondering: 1. What are the criteria for determining the inspection grade (A, B, C)? 2. Do the pressure gauges used on pressure vessels necessarily have to be of category A? Help!

In more critical situations, inspection every six months is necessary.
Meters and instruments specified in the Metrology Law for use in trade settlement, safety protection, environmental monitoring, and healthcare are subject to mandatory inspection. Gauge instruments on pressure vessels, based on their purpose, should belong to the category of safety protection devices, used to monitor whether the pressure is within a safe range. It should require a strict inspection. Regarding the classification and management methods for levels A, B, and C, please refer to the \"Regulations on the Classification and Management of Measuring Instruments in the Chemical Industry\"; it’s available online with a simple search.
It should not fall within the scope of mandatory inspection, but it must be inspected by a qualified inspection agency.
