IPxx dust and water resistance rating is suitable for all devices that require protection against dust and water. Dust protection rating (indicated by the first X): 0: No protection; 1: Protection against large solid particles; 2: Protection against medium-sized solid particles; 3: Protection against small solid particles; 4: Protection against solids larger than 1 mm; 5: Protection against the accumulation of harmful dust; 6: Complete protection against dust intrusion. Water resistance rating (indicated by the second X): 0: No protection; 1: Drops of water falling on the enclosure have no effect; 2: Drops of water falling on the enclosure when it is tilted at 15 degrees have no effect; 3: Water or rain falling on the enclosure from a 60-degree angle has no effect; 4: Liquids splashing onto the enclosure from any direction cause no damage; 5: Washing with water causes no harm; 6: Suitable for use in marine environments; 7: Can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter depth for a short period of time; 8: Can withstand prolonged immersion under certain pressure. Example: An IP65 rating indicates that the product is completely protected against dust intrusion and can be washed with water without any damage
