Control of seal oil pressure

For various pumps, it is generally sufficient to keep the seal oil pressure higher than the inlet pressure; but why is the seal oil pressure for slurry pumps controlled at a higher level?
Generally, the sealing oil pressure depends on the pressure in the sealing chamber, which is higher than the inlet pressure and lower than the outlet pressure.
The slurry pump is generally a cantilever pump; the pressure in the sealing chamber is created by the low-pressure area generated by the rotation of the ribs on the back of the impeller. This pressure is higher than that in the sealing chamber formed by balance holes or balance tubes, and therefore the seal oil pressure is also higher.
