The Jade Emperor is not the one with the highest level of cultivation in Taoism, but he possesses the greatest divine authority. Tathagata is the Buddha, the founder of Buddhism; who is greater among them? ?

There is no comparison possible; both are supreme in their own realms, but the Jade Emperor resides in the heavens while Buddha lives on earth. Their wealth cannot be compared, and that’s why Buddha asked Tang Seng to go on a pilgrimage to expand his sphere of influence.

I agree. It has to be the Buddha who is powerful; even the Jade Emperor can’t do anything to Wukong, as the Buddha can handle him with just one hand. If the municipal party committee tells the police chief to crack down on crime, then who’s in charge?
In terms of knowledge and personal cultivation, he is truly like the Tathagata； In terms of rights and jurisdiction, the Jade Emperor has a broader scope of authority.
