Dear colleagues in the industry, those with experience, let’s discuss together the selection of instruments for hydrogenation units – including the manufacturers used. We’ll examine the advantages and disadvantages of various domestic and international manufacturers for instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, level sensors, etc., as well as things like pressure transfer tubes. I hope everyone will share their opinions and experiences so that we can all improve together!
In our plant’s hydrogenation section, Yokogawa’s products are used for pressure and level control, and after 2 years of use they have performed well with no issues encountered; the flow meters are of Kolon quality
In high-risk areas, it is recommended to avoid using products from street vendors; opt for products of good quality and superior performance instead. Not a single minor malfunction is allowed in these critical areas
I’ve learned that the pressure and temperature requirements in hydrogenation processes are quite high; it’s indeed necessary to use better equipment.
