I encountered an English term related to motor parameters today: “Symmetrical fault level”. What does this mean???? Symmetrical fault level? What kind of parameter is it, and what is its value? Thank you.
This parameter represents the short-time withstand current of the motor outlet busbar in the substation (also known as Short-Time Withstand Current). Typical values include 25KA, 31.5KA, or 40KA, and this value depends on the busbar short-circuit capacity determined through the design calculations for the substation.
