I would like to ask those who are using PDS for pipeline design: what level of knowledge about databases is required to become a good PDS administrator? . . .
This question is a bit vague; to become a PDS admin, it’s not necessary to know much about SQL or Oracle databases – it’s sufficient to understand the structure of the data. However, in-depth research has been conducted on the data structure of PDS and the execution order of programs. It’s best to have some programming skills.
Are there any materials on database creation that can be shared?~~
The materials are those PDF files from EagleView; once you purchase an EagleView product, the company will provide a set of them. You can refer to them frequently while learning. Without software, these PDF files are of no use; PDS skills can only be improved through continuous practice.
Those English materials do exist, but they are quite difficult to translate. . . The software operation is fine; I want to learn how to *create databases. . Are there any Chinese reference materials? . Something basic will do. . . Hehe
Can I share some materials? English ones are also fine; it’s useless just to have the software if you don’t know how to use it
We should work on SmartPlant 3D; Eagle Graphics no longer invests effort in PDS, so we need to shift focus to SP3D
