For example, the defined displacements are used when the load case is W+P1+T1+D1 (OPE), while those displacements are set to zero when the load case is W+P1 (SUS). The user manual for CAESAR contains a statement to this effect; it means that the displacements defined under one certain load condition are considered to be zero by CAESAR in other load conditions that are not unique. I would like to ask whether the 9 vectors defining displacement in CAESAR correspond to the 9 temperature values, with each displacement vector being defined at a certain temperature. For example, if I have additional displacements to define at T1 and T3, do I need to define them in the first and third columns corresponding to those displacements?
Most of the displacement is due to thermal effects, and the greatest displacement occurs in cases related to thermal issues. For me, if you check the thermal conditions and they are fine, then everything should be okay..... Please have an expert take a look as well......
I think it should be reflected in the working condition settings. For example, T1, T2, T3 and D1, D2, D3 can be W+P+T1+D1, or they can also be W+P+T1+D2, and so on; it’s not necessary for T1 to correspond to D1
