The output of the 3-wire instruments at the site is faulty. Upon inspection, it was found that the positive terminal of the 24VDC power supply has a voltage of 0V with respect to ground, while the negative terminal has a voltage of –24V with respect to ground. The reason might be an issue with grounding in the power supply for those instruments. After powering off the system, the voltage on the 24VDC power supply (N+RPS) should return to normal. What could be the cause, and how can this problem be resolved?
The normal condition is that 24V+ with respect to ground is 24V, and 24V- with respect to ground is 0V; based on your description, the negative terminal should be 24V+

Could the issue with the power supply be caused by the grounding of the instruments on site? For N+RPS power supply systems, how can normal operation be restored? Powering off and restarting works, but are there any other methods while the device is still running?
1. If your power supply is floating, it doesn’t matter which power terminal is grounded, as long as they are not grounded at the same time. 2. If the power supply has its positive terminal connected to ground, then you can only wait until the vehicle is stopped to change the wiring. 3. If the negative terminal was grounded originally, then this situation should not occur.
