There is a problem with the atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit; it’s a facility with a processing capacity of 1.5 million tons! The atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit can maintain normal operation at a processing capacity of 155 cubic meters. The atmospheric section is divided into two side streams: the primary atmospheric side stream and the secondary atmospheric side stream. The oils refined are mainly Shengli and Ma’eriyang oil; however, no oil is produced from Chang Er. Under a refining capacity of 155 cubic meters, some oil can still be obtained, but as the capacity increases, less and less oil comes from Chang Er. I kindly ask all fellow shipowners to help me figure out what the problem is! ! Thank you!
It is not known whether the distillation temperature is sufficient; if the temperature is low, check on site to ensure that the distillation line is unobstructed and that the distillation control valve is fully open. If the distillation line is in good condition, consider whether there is a leak in the oil collection tank. Based on the crude oil you mentioned, the constant second line contains distillate oils. Mainly check for issues in the process flow.
Could you please explain the operating conditions before and after the increase in volume? (Feed temperature, top temperature, flow rate and extraction return temperature in Column 1, flow rate and extraction return temperature in Column 2, output volume and yield of Column 1, distillation temperature, output volume, yield, and distillation temperature of Column 2.)
Friend, all the possibilities mentioned above have been ruled out; thank you so much! But it’s not any of these reasons! !
The feed temperature is 360 degrees, the top temperature is 105 degrees. The flow rate in the first constant temperature section must not exceed 22 cubic meters; otherwise, the liquid level cannot be maintained. The temperature of the fluid extracted from the first constant temperature section is over 250 degrees, while the return temperature is around 150 degrees. The flow rate in the second constant temperature section is around 40 cubic meters; the extracted fluid has a temperature of 320–330 degrees, with a return temperature of around 240 degrees. The output volume from the first production line is around 20 cubic meters, with a yield of 10 to 15%, and the distillation temperature is around 200 degrees. The output volume from the second production line is around 10 cubic meters, with a yield of 10 to 15%, and the distillation temperature is around 280 degrees! Thank you for your participation!
Has the flow rate at Chang Er Middle School been adjusted? Has the flow rate at Chang Er Middle School been adjusted? Has the flow rate at Chang Er Middle School been adjusted? 40 characters needed
Adjust the reserved temperature and the reflux flow rate in step 2. For the return flow rate in 2, it doesn’t need to be set too high; what if it’s too high?
Under normal circumstances, if oil cannot be discharged from the side line, it is usually due to one of the following reasons: 1. The extraction plate on the side line is dry; 2. Oil tank leakage ; 3. There is a problem with the upper tray, preventing the liquid phase from flowing down. It is recommended that you first reduce the yield of the primary line; if possible, the amount sent out through the primary line can be lowered significantly to ensure sufficient reflux on the lower trays. Only if there is still no oil in the secondary line should you consider the second and third reasons ;
The flow rate at Chang Er Middle School has been adjusted to around 40 to 50 cubic meters! I don’t think it’s due to that; the unit operates well at around 150 cubic meters, and there is quite a lot of oil output from the secondary line as well. Once it exceeds 150, the unit starts to malfunction! I feel like there’s an excessive vapor load; not enough liquid flow is available, and it’s often impossible to maintain the liquid level! I also suspected the cause of the blockage in the downcomer; otherwise, why can’t the liquid level be maintained in Changyi No.1?
Chang II has been adjusted, but there is still a large amount of flow in Chang I. The idea is to reduce the flow through the control valve for Chang I in order to maintain a stable liquid level in it, and to ensure liquid distillation in Chang II by using extensive internal reflux. However, it’s not possible to maintain a stable liquid level in Chang I, and no oil is produced in Chang II either; problems with the pipelines and valves have already been ruled out! Thank you for your help; let’s continue the discussion!
If this phenomenon occurs only after increasing the flow rate, could we try making adjustments to the stripping steam?
