Is there always a triangular manual three-way valve control in the PID diagram of refining units? What I saw was that the pipelines for loading and unloading the catalyst were like this; there were also other ones, and I’ve seen them as well, but I didn’t notice what kind of pipelines they were
Is what the poster is referring to is a line running down from an ordinary gate valve and then another gate valve connected to it? What should be on the catalyst pipeline is a gate valve with purge holes. It is mainly to prevent the catalyst from clogging the valve plate and causing the valve to fail to close properly.
