What is the chloride ion level in the circulating water? What are the other indicators? Such as total iron, total hardness. . . . . . . . . . . . .
Control parameters for circulating water: MG/L – Conductivity less than 3600; pH – 6.8–9.5; Turbidity – less than 30; Total phosphorus – 3–6; Total iron – less than 1; Chloride ions – less than 450; Calcium ions – less than 200; Magnesium ions – less than 150; Total alkalinity – less than 1600; Concentration ratio – 3–5
“Total phosphorus: 3–6”? It’s way too low; organic phosphorus is more on the right level

This post was last edited by cdpulin on 2012-4-18 09:54. The parameters for circulating water control are greatly influenced by the water treatment formula you choose. Chloride ions should basically be kept under control for stainless steel materials
PPM is equivalent to mg/L, and total iron can only indicate the instantaneous corrosion rate.
I agree with what was said on floor 6: the operating conditions vary from one unit to another, and the required concentration levels differ as well; all parameters need to be determined based on the chemicals chosen for use.
I agree with what was said on floor 6. However, your customer’s system has chloride levels of over 10,000 PPM, yet corrosion is still well under control. Could you share some details on that?
