There is a problem with the segmented calculation for cluster seats in SW7.0: when the material used for the connection section between the cluster seat and the shell is 15CrMoR, the design temperature for the cluster seat is set at 5 degrees. However, the minimum operating temperature for 15CrMoR is 20 degrees, so this value cannot be used in the calculations. I’m not sure how to resolve this issue; I seek help
Can’t we just use an insulating layer then? What is the temperature of the device’s main body?
Enter 5° for the temperature, but can’t you enter the allowable stress value manually when providing it? If nothing else works, it will have to be edited manually in the calculation sheet
What the original poster means is that 5°C already exceeds the temperature range for using 15CrMoR.
It seems there’s no problem; if you have already entered the data for the cylinder, lower head, etc., in SW, then that prompt won’t appear. After all, the transition section is greatly affected by the temperature of the cylinder, so it cannot be treated as equivalent to the main body of the skirt

This material is rarely used in practice, but there are no clear specifications outlined in GB150.2 and GB713; only GB713 specifies an impact temperature of 20 degrees. I’ve learned this
