As a major by-product of coal chemical industry, the production of coal tar has increased significantly; at the same time, the industry related to the deep processing of coal tar has grown rapidly, with its scale continuing to expand. In 2011, the world economy was like an animal trapped in a cage, unable to break free; issues such as the spread of the European debt crisis cast a shadow over the global economy ; China has also not eased its regulatory efforts; in particular, by forcing the return of excess liquidity, the central bank has raised interest rates three times and the reserve requirement ratio six times in an effort to curb the real estate bubble. The real estate market has cooled down, and the market for water reducers has also slowed down; as a result, the focus of production for products derived from the deep processing of coal tar has shifted. So where lies the opportunity for breakthroughs in the later stages of the coal tar industry chain? Since 2011, macro-control has exerted an unprecedented influence on domestic small and medium-sized enterprises. For enterprises engaged in the deep processing of coal tar, a range of by-products such as industrial naphthalene, anthracene oil, washed oil, phenol oil, and crude phenol could be converted into cash fairly quickly in the past, playing a significant role in improving the companies’ cash flow. However, times have changed; currently, companies struggle with cash flow, and most can only rely on acceptance letters to meet their most urgent needs. Apart from financial pressures, the downturn in the real estate market has led to a lack of confidence in the market. The traditional peak season for industrial naphthalene has not arrived yet, and as the product with the strongest potential for value addition through further processing, it is also difficult for this sector to see any improvement; there is thus a lack of optimistic outlooks in the market. In 2012, how did the coal tar and advanced processing industries manage to emerge from the downturn and overcome their difficulties? We will present wonderful conclusions to everyone at this seminar. Drawing on years of experience in organizing professional conferences, and in response to the requests of numerous clients as well as market demands, we have organized the Second China Coal Chemicals Summit. We invite you to join us in this event held in Dalian. [Highlights] Longzhong Information has abandoned the traditional format of lengthy speech-based conferences, instead preparing engaging discussion sessions aimed at thoroughly analyzing the key issues within the industry, with participants actively involved in the discussions. The agenda includes the following topics: An analysis of China’s macroeconomic situation and policies and their impact on the deep processing industry; the current status and trends of the coal tar and deep processing markets, along with data-based analyses; and how coal tar deep processing manufacturers can avoid risks under the pressure of high costs What will be the future trends in demand for naphthalene-based superplasticizers, and how do they compare with the markets for polycarboxylate and aliphatic superplasticizers? What are the development opportunities for niche products resulting from further processing of anthracene oil and washing oil? Supply and demand landscape and development prospects of coal tar and its downstream processing industries in 2012. 【Highlights of the conference】: It is no longer a meeting focused solely on listening to reports; its main purpose is to facilitate communication among enterprises involved in the upstream and downstream stages of the coal tar industry chain. Intense discussions focusing on the most pressing issues of concern to businesses and traders, with industry experts providing professional and authoritative in-depth analyses as well as answering questions on the spot, creating a vibrant industry exchange event featuring open Q&A sessions. Specially reserved sessions for business negotiations between enterprises provide a dedicated platform for communication between companies and traders, eliminating the hassle of lacking time for interaction. This fosters win-win cooperation between enterprises and traders, creating a golden bridge for harmonious discussions! 【Meeting Schedule】April 16: 10:00–21:00 – Registration for the meeting.
