Depressurisation – what exactly does this term mean? It’s not available in dictionaries; it’s written on the drawings provided by the design institute. Could it be a spelling error?
It seems one ‘S’ is missing; DEPRESSURISATION, which means reducing pressure
Agree with the view from the 2nd floor; an ‘S’ is missing. Depressurisation means reducing pressure. If ignition has already occurred, depressurisation limits the supply of fuel to the fire – in other words, emergency depressurisation limits the amount of fuel that can feed the fire.
I’ll report this to the manager again; such an error is truly incomprehensible. It’s not just one instance; rather, the total number of times this word appears is quite high. In a 40-page PDF file, it appears as many as 30 times. Based on this, my current understanding is that it refers to a steam injector
