The ultrasonic separator (referred to as the 3S device), which was jointly developed by Russia and Canada and for which international patents have been obtained, has been successfully applied for the first time in the Tarim Oil Field in Xinjiang. This device, which replaces JT valves and expanders, overcomes the traditional isenthalpic and isentropic classification methods based on advanced aerospace technology concepts, offering advantages such as low power consumption, high yield, low pressure drop, and simplified processing procedures.
