Each heater is equipped with a short-circuit terminal box containing a heating rod; the external cable consists of 3-core power cables and 1-core grounding cables. There is also a protection shroud, and the cable outlets come with waterproof joints. The protection level must be at least IP56.
In my opinion, for Chinese terms referring to short-circuiting junction boxes, it’s sufficient to simply use the term \"junction box\"; there’s no need to translate it as \"junction box\" or \"terminal box\". The junction box of this thermistor heater is connected to three wires plus one ground wire, so short-circuiting isn’t necessary in this case. Shorting is generally used for two-wire thermistors; in such cases, simply short together points b and c.
