What are the size differences between US standard valves and Chinese standard valves? Can US standard valves be replaced with Chinese standard valves?:) ?
No, the American standards and Chinese standards differ in terms of dimensions, and there are also differences in the flange contact surfaces.
In terms of size, they are more or less the same; you can see this by comparing the specifications of GB valves with those in ASME B16.10! It’s fine to use GB standards for regular valves, but in conditions of high temperature and pressure, it’s better to use valves that comply with American standards.
Generally, it is not possible; for example, for a DN100 flanged gate valve, the standard Chinese diameter is 108 while the standard American diameter is 114, which is a difference of 6. However, in some cases it is possible – for instance, for DN80, both the standard American and Chinese diameters are 89, so it can be used as a substitute. Of course, flanges and gaskets that need to be matched
Generally, it’s not possible. Valves that meet American standards differ significantly from those that meet Chinese standards; when supplying to foreign markets, we are very careful to verify the required parameters
It doesn’t matter; it’s just a different flange. When buying the valve, simply purchase a matching flange as well. ANSI flanges can be obtained for just a few hundred yuan per set on the market.
