Why are the wire and float for servo level gauges so expensive? The float costs 10,000 yuan, and if you need 5 wires, that’s another 10,000 yuan. . . . . It doesn’t seem to require any special skills, does it? Anyway, does it still need to be recalibrated after being installed? Solve

The smaller the float diameter, the more stable the measurement, but the accuracy decreases. Generally, a comprehensive consideration is needed. If the waveguide is large enough, has sufficient verticality, and the holes are properly polished, it is less likely to occur floating of the float
Things with high precision are expensive; high precision requires meticulous processing. That’s technology, and technology equals money :)
Floats have various uses; the flat, oval-shaped ones are primarily used for measuring water levels. They have a small blind spot when it comes to level measurement, which results in slightly lower accuracy, but this does not affect their functionality. The long cylindrical type offers higher accuracy in measuring liquid levels, but its blind spot also increases accordingly. There is another type that can be used for both water level and liquid level measurement; it is generally chosen when no special requirements exist, and it is also the most commonly used type. The three types of floats have similar volume and mass; only their shapes are different. The measuring wires are generally made of 316L steel; they are expensive due to factors related to the manufacturers! Personally, I don’t think it’s that expensive.
