What are the equipment used for LNG, and what should be taken into consideration? I’m just a mechanic who fixes CNG compressors; I don’t yet fully understand the dangers associated with LNG, which is why I’m a bit afraid of the equipment related to it. I also would like to ask fellow sailors what their opinions are on the repair trade. Now it seems to me that in our company, mechanical maintenance is considered dispensable. What’s even worse is that I worked 70 hours overtime in a month without being paid for it. Sometimes I wonder what prospects there really are in becoming a mechanic
With so many devices that need maintenance, and after getting to know the manufacturers of various types of equipment, it would be a good idea to appoint a person in charge of equipment management

Going back to the third floor: LNG stands for liquefied natural gas. CNG stands for compressed natural gas. If one has to go back to the second floor, then it’s completely pointless; their salary is only about 1,000 more than ours, and they do the same work as us – so what’s the point?
