Anti-corrosion in food-grade n-hexane storage tanks

Dear classmates: Hello everyone! I’m facing a difficult problem right now. I have 6 storage tanks with a capacity of 1,000 m³ each, filled with high-purity n-hexane. Since the product (n-hexane) is classified as food-grade, the inner walls of the tanks as well as the gasket seals require to meet food-grade standards. Since the ring plates were welded together earlier, it is no longer possible to change the material (carbon steel); now it’s unclear what kind of paint should be used on the inner surface. Those with good electrical conductivity do not meet food-grade standards, while those of food-grade standard have poor electrical conductivity. Eventually it was decided to avoid painting and instead just remove rust and apply a nitrogen seal, but since it’s by the sea, there’s concern about chloride ion corrosion – I’m really stuck!
