Regarding the LPG desulfurization tank

Gentlemen, our unit is equipped with an LPG desulfurization tank – does it remove organic sulfur or inorganic sulfur?

If it is a desulfurization tank rather than a tower, it is likely that the organic sulfur being removed is present, and the solvent could be NAOH; this desulfurization method actually serves to deodorize rather than remove sulfur, which is what is known as a sweetening process. The common method for removing inorganic sulfur (H2S) from LPG is amine absorption, with amine solutions such as MDEA or DEA being the most commonly used solvents.
In our plant, heavy naphtha is the main product; there is no MDEA used for hydrogen sulfide removal. There is a stripping tower ahead, which I suppose is used to remove some of the hydrogen sulfide
