Analysis of the common causes of corrosion in the water wall tubes of gas boilers

Common gas boilers are equipped with water wall tubes. During the annual pressure test of the boiler, multiple leakage points were found between two of these wall tubes at the rear end. I would like to know what the causes of corrosion are – is internal corrosion more common or external corrosion?
Tail corrosion is generally more often external corrosion; if the exhaust temperature is low, low-temperature corrosion at the tail will occur
